Three Feet Apart

Anashwara Mandalay, Graduate Interior Design

Three Feet Apart is a deployable jacket that explores conditions of interiority in an exterior environment. It encloses the body as a jacket, creates boundary as a picnic blanket, and encloses objects as a bag, while promoting the sustainable practice of using reusable shopping bags. Intended for use in parks, the apparatus is two-layered, made of woven plastic yarn and fabric. By creating a boundary as a blanket, it helps in maintaining social distance during the pandemic.
