LAYERING OF TIME
"Place is never completely effaced" — Marc Auge.
Inspired by Auge's concept, the thesis project sought to explore the layers of history embedded within the site and translate them into a sustainable architectural interior response. By integrating these fabric-infused bricks into the building's restoration, the project aimed to create a dialogue between past and present, while also fostering a sense of community engagement. Through this work, I believe in the potential for architecture to be a catalyst for positive change in terms of sustainability.
